The new Nokia 3310

What’s new with the new Nokia 3310

So lets take a look at what the revamped Nokia 3310 brings to the table.

As a Nokia enthusiast from early days . I have had my share of Nokia phones in the late old days when if everyone said phones that would’ve mostly been a Nokia.

Its been about 15-20 days the new Nokia 3310 has been my secondary phone. i mostly use it for calls and text messaging. And how could i forgot the snake game, i grew up playing up the classic. This phone however dubs snake not only as a game but as a feature itself. Its not the snake we were used to in the old days but a quite revamped version of it along with many improvement, levels and some gimmicks.

Its only has the basic feature set of a device that would have existed in the early 2000’s .It doesn’t have a any fancy operating system or other flagship features but basic features like phone calls, text messaging, a tiny tft display, FM radio, and a very basic camera. It cant be called as a daily driver but can be a pretty good secondary phone as its battery life is great and can last 4-5 days on a single charge with medium usage.

The verdict

It is not a phone you will want to use daily as your main phone as it is not so smart as your regular smart phone and it has only basic 2.5G network capabilities . And if you are to buy this phone , it surely is not for the feature set but for the memories this phone holds. There not much to the phone itself in terms of hardware and software but the nostalgia itself is worth the price which is also not much to ask as i only paid Rs 5100 in Nepal which is equivalent to about $50 or 45 Euros.
